As part of my Photojournalism as Art class at SoNYT, I was tasked with creating a portfolio that not only documented my skills, but also my experience in New York. My final portfolio was about how windows defined varieties of people, activities and emotions. I looked out for conventional, unique, colored, shadowed or unfiltered moments while maintaining an anonymous element to my images in order for the viewer to emphasize with my photos. Looking out for these elements made me into a more detailed photographer because it forced me to map out a composition quickly.
