Coverage for Homecoming week takes organization and comradery. Having photographers for major events such as spirit days, the football game, parade, and pep-rally were essential to document. I was able to coordinate with fellow staff members about locations and teach them how to properly use a camera. Spreading the stories to print, social media and the website was another part of the process, but through teamwork everything was able to be published effectively and efficiently. Along with the publishing process, I wanted my images to capture the action and the student body’s excitement that comes with homecoming.
